I simply enjoy photography!

I have been taking photographs for many, many years and have gained tremendous experience (and enjoyment) from all my assignments. I, personally, have never felt the desire to specialise in any specific area of photography as “Photographers produce and preserve images that paint a picture, tell a story, or records an event” and it’s this challenge to capture that moment in time, no matter the circumstance or setting, which excites the passion for this art in me.

You will see, looking at my portfolio, a broad spectrum of photographs some of which have been shot for my own personal satisfaction; as being a photographer is not just a job to me and I am rarely without some type of camera close to hand. And with a daughter who is absolutely loves dance and performing on stage; my passion for photography has also, inevitably, been drawn into this direction.

With me you will always get a photographer who would seek to understand your requirements, what you are looking to have captured and someone who has a breadth of technical photographic experience to be effective in almost any environment and setting.

I am insured, own and use professional equipment and I also have a portable studio as often clients prefer the comfort and ease of a home shoot rather than the alien environment of a studio although I understand the necessity, and would recommend as appropriate, a studio if this would ensure the desired photographs.

I am based in Ascot, Berkshire and I am always happy to travel to my photography assignments.

Working with young people - I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and I am also a registered licenced Chaperone with my local authority; Bracknell Forest.

Charities - I really believe in “giving back” where possible and work at no cost for the following charities – RSPCA, Chiltern Open Air Museum and the Freewheelers Theatre Arts & Media Company.
